I recently received a complimentary copy of the DVD-based Bible study "Stuck" by Jennie Allen from Thomas Nelson Publishing as part of the Booksneeze book review program. The opinions below are my honest opinion of the study.
Many women in today's society start living their lives and we become stuck in our situations. We may feel stuck trying to be a picture perfect mom and wife, stuck trying to get more things because we're discontent, stuck in our past or in sad and depressive situations, or stuck in something we don't even recognize we are stuck in. As women, we try so hard to fix our own problems or be in control of everything in our lives when we need to turn to God. He is the only one who can get us unstuck from our lives and our situations. This is a seven week study with short easy to read lessons that are so easy to dig into. There is a leader's guide, a dvd, and some wonderful cards with scriptures and questions to lead conversation on each chapter. This is a great Bible study for a women's small group or if you don't have a small group you could do it individually. It will draw you closer to God and He can fill the empty spaces in your life where you feel stuck.
