I recently received a complimentary copy of the book "Miracle for Jen" by Linda Barrick from Tyndale House Publishers as part of their book review program. The opinions below are my honest opinion of the book and I was in no way paid for my opinion.
"Miracle for Jen" is the true story of Jennifer Barrick who at the age of 15 years old experienced something tragic that would change her and her family's lives forever. As the family was driving home from church, a drunk driver slammed into their van at 80 miles per hour. Everyone was hurt very badly; however, Jennifer was by far the worst one. She lay in a coma for 5 long weeks as her family prayed for her to come back to them. Once she did finally awake from her coma, she could not remember her family, middle name, or anything that had happened. All she could remember and speak of was Bible verses and praises of Jesus her Lord and Saviour. Her mother had prayed for her to awake "normal, " but she quickly realized God had amazing plans for Jennifer. This is such an amazing true story of hope, faith, and love. It is a miraculous story as well and the book includes pictures in the middles. It is amazing once you see the vehicle that Jen is even alive.
